Who Are We
The association of resident doctors Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe is a branch of the Nigerian Association of Resident doctors and an affiliate of the Nigerian Medical Association, Gombe state chapter.
The resident doctors are early career doctors below the rank of consultants. They include medical/dental house officers, senior medical and dental officers, Research fellows and resident doctors.
THE CONSTITUTION
Binding on the members
(i)The constitution of the association shall be the supreme guiding rules and regulations of the
association.
(ii) Shall be subject to reviews or amendments upon a bill sponsored by any member of the
association at the AGM and supported by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of congress.
(iii)Successful bills shall be transferred to the constitution review committee for consideration.
(iv)Amendment of the constitution shall be ratified at an OGM and adopted at the next AGM
after which it takes effect.
(v) Every member is entitled to a copy of the constitution (Print and/or Electronic).
(vi)The NARD constitution and relevant sections shall always be supreme and upheld when in
conflict with any areas of this constitution.
